Danny Califf has played soccer all over the world--from his upbringing in California, to college in Maryland, in 5 different cities in MLS, traveling with the Unites States National Team, and playing in the Danish SuperLiga. Like his professional travels, his passion for helping kids knows no boundaries.

Califf was the latest recipient of the Teammates for Kids award for his service and commitment to our Foundation. “I feel so privileged to be a part of this incredible organization and to be a teammate with an organization that believes kids are the future,” says Califf, “and more importantly, gives kids a chance!”

Danny and his wife Erin have been Teammates since the 2008 soccer season. They have continuously helped our foundation get new players involved and are always willing to set up meetings for the Foundation to tell its story. “It’s people like Danny and Erin who make our Foundation what it is and the reason we do what we do,” said Teammates Director of Operations Jason Grahame. “Congrats, Danny, you are true Teammate!”
