Reggie Bush, running back for the Detroit Lions, continued his annual tradition of hosting a youth football camp at his alma mater, Helix Charter High School in La Mesa, California, on June 28 and 29. The Super Bowl XLIV champion was happy to share strategies and practice skills with the 240 aspiring athletes who attended the camp. Bush was assisted by a coaching staff of 30.

Teammates provided scholarships to several youth through Coaching Corps, which allowed them to attend the camp free of charge. With Coaching Corps, motivated college students and community members serve as volunteer coaches, mentors, and role models in afterschool sports programs serving girls and boys who live in under-resourced communities.

In keeping with its new practice of presenting a Good Teammate Award to one camper at each of the Pro Camps they provide scholarships to over the summer, Teammates recognized Conner Mille, age 16, of San Diego. Conner received the award because he exhibited the traits of a TOTAL TEAMMATE: leadership, toughness, unselfishness, and respect for the game and all of its participants.
