Atlanta Falcons players Roddy White and Bear Pascoe hosted the 2nd Teammates ProCamp in connection with Garth Brooks' World Tour in Atlanta last weekend. The athletes welcomed 120 kids from the Children's Restoration Network to a football camp at Centennial High School in Roswell, Georgia, where they were joined by Teammates Co-Founder Garth Brooks. While Garth focused on making sure the kids were “having fun,” the Falcons players helped them learn some of the fundamentals of the game. Teammates made it possible for all of the young athletes to attend the camp for free.

“It was a honor to attend and be a part of Garth Brooks and Roddy Whites Teammates for Kids football camp,” said Tight End for the Falcons, Bear Pascoe “It was great getting to work with the kids and coach them on fundamentals and technique."

Teammates will continue to partner with Brooks to hold ProCamps at every city on his World Tour. Brooks and Teammate athletes in each city will volunteer their time to coach kids in either football, basketball, baseball, hockey, or soccer.

This summer, Teammates began a new tradition of presenting a Good Teammate Award at every ProCamp where they provided scholarships for the kids. The award recognizes a young athlete who exhibits the traits of a TOTAL TEAMMATE: leadership, toughness, unselfishness, and respect for the game and all of its participants. In Atlanta, three Good Teammate Awards were presented to 13-year-old Amari Jones, 12-year-old Sean Norris, and 11-year-old Axton Brown.
