Teammates for Kids, and Garth Brooks joined forces again to bring a youth football camp to Glendale, Arizona on Saturday, March 23rd. One-Hundred and Eleven area children from Helping Hands for Single Moms, Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix, Tickets for Kids Charities, Child Crisis Nursery of Arizona and Salt River Maricopa Pima Native American Community were guests at the daylong camp, where they practiced their offensive and defensive moves under the direction of former NFL player Adam Snyder and the coaching staff.

Teammates for Kids provides scholarships so all of the campers can attend for free and also presents the Good Teammate Award to those athletes who best demonstrate the traits of a TOTAL TEAMMATE--leadership, toughness, unselfishness, and respect for the game and all of its participants. In Glendale, Good Teammate Awards were presented to: Kenlie VanNoy, age 10; Gabriel Fortune, age 12; and Bailey Mitchell, age 13.

Teammates will continue to partner with Brooks to hold a sports camp at every city on his Stadium Tour. Teammate athletes in each city will volunteer their time to coach kids in football, basketball, baseball, hockey, or soccer.
