Charlotte Hornets Center Dwight Howard, a Teammate since 2009, hosted his youth basketball camp in the gym at Meadowcreek High School in Norcross, Georgia. Howard and a staff of 15 coaches, helped over 100 boys and girls improve their basketball skills and overall athletic capabilities. Dwight Howard is an 8-time NBA All-Star and a 5-time selection to the All-NBA First Team. He was the 1st overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic and has also played for the Lakers, Rockets & Hawks.

Teammates was proud to provide scholarships that enabled children from Tickets for Kids Charities to attend the camp free of charge. Tickets for Kids Charities is dedicated to the equitable access of cultural resources for low-income and at-risk children.

In keeping with the tradition of presenting a Good Teammate Award to one camper at each of the Pro Camps they provide scholarships to, Teammates was proud to recognize Kelsey Smikes, age 15. The award is given to a camper in recognition of his or her traits of a TOTAL TEAMMATE: leadership, toughness, unselfishness, and respect for the game and all of its participants.
