Last Saturday at the J. Churchill Owen Boys & Girls Club in Denver, one hundred and twenty-five young athletes from the Denver/Metro area Boys & Girls Clubs and Tickets for Kids Charities participated in a youth Lacrosse camp presented by Garth Brooks, Teammates for Kids.

Several alumni members of the University of Denver Lacrosse team (many from the 2015 National Championship team) plus former players from the University of Kansas and Colorado State teams, coached and mentored the kids through catching, passing, scooping, cradling, dodging and shooting drills.

Teammates For Kids presents the Good Teammate Award at each youth sports camp they sponsor. The award recognizes the young athletes who best demonstrate the traits of a Total Teammate, including leadership, toughness, unselfishness, and respect for the game and all of its participants. In Denver, Good Teammate Awards were presented to: Amaya Paul, age 9; Micah Scott, age 10; and Zachary Segura, age 12.

Teammates will continue to partner with Brooks to hold youth sports camps at every city on his StadiumTour. Athletes in each city will volunteer their time to coach kids in football, basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, or lacrosse.Negozio Online Nike Roshe Run
