Who doesn't love the state fair? With its exhilarating mix of delicious food, challenging games, and thrilling rides, a visit to the state fair is something every child enjoys. For patients at Children's Minnesota who couldn't go to the fair, the fair came to them during the Child Life Zone's Third Annual State Fair Celebration.
Patients and their families were treated to everything that makes a state fair fun — from the food and crafts, games and inflatables, to face painting, visits from superheroes, tours of a hospital helicopter, a petting zoo, and a dunk tank!
"Thanks, everyone! Now we can say we've been to the state fair!" said Cade Ranua, age 9.
Child Life Zone Coordinator Stephanie Smith commented, "We appreciate the generosity, dedication, and enthusiasm of everyone involved in making this memorable event possible. The joy it brings to patients and families is invaluable!"
